from where can i get bubble algae?

Hi all,

I want it. seriously. a big bubble is a single cell. i want to see how it grows how it reproduces and how will it be if i inject it with glucose. cell biology without microscope.

This is the coolest first-post ever.
You should take a look at Decocean in Greve. Last time I was there, he had live rock coated in green bubble algae and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind giving/selling you some.

great. I am in horsholm. where are you, Gilleleje? can you mail some to me? I can pay the cost, or I can go to gilleleje myself. I have got a jar of seawater from the beach. Fresh seawater is usually better than artificial seawater. but I have little with the seawater here.

Theres no need for that, it produces its own glucose from photosynthesis

So is Caulerpa sp., might be easier to find.

Jeg fatter intet af den her tråd.. Han vil ha nogle bobbel alger til et eksperiment, men han har tilsyneladende ikke noget akvarie så derfor har han været nede ved havet og hente et glas vand..???

Det tvivler jeg på er sandt. Jeg tror godt at man Bruger vand fra havet bevares, men ligefrem et enkelt glas frem for et akvarie eller en tank/dunk. Arj...? Den hopper jeg sgu ikke på. Hehe Så må vi da ik håbe at han for væltet det glas, så han skal ned til havet og fylde det igen.. Hehe Nå men spøg til side, vi må da håbe at hans forsøg lykkes og han for noget godt ud af det.
