Jeg har læst det samme flere steder...!
Chaetomorpha is considered safer because it doesn't go sexual in your aquarium.
Caulerpa will consume chemicals and other toxins from your water but, after a period of time, you will see it turn a pale, white color and then it will release all those toxins back into the water, obviously causing some trouble. If you use caulerpa, you can just take it out of the tank once you notice it start to fade, but it seems easier and safer to just use chaetomorpha which doens't turn sexual and release these toxins into the water. Chaetomorpha also seems to grow much quicker thereby consuming much more toxins.
Both types are considered safe for an aquarium and do an excellent job, but it is easier and less painful to use something like chaetomorpha, which doesn't require regular maintenance.
Så forresten lige ved Hobbyriff at der var en masse forskellige macro alger under Neuheiten i shoppen !
